Tory’s Story

Joie de Vivre started with one too many dreamy sundowners with the love of my life, Grant, and a wild little thought: what if we could bottle this feeling?

I’ve always been drawn to the fun side of life: long lunches that turn into dancing, pink beach sunsets, spontaneous toasts, and the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt. That sparkling, you’re-exactly-where-you’re-meant-to-be kind of joy? I wanted to bottle that feeling. So I did.

I always loved rosé, but my fiancé, Grant, introduced me to the fascinating world of colourful gin, and I quickly fell for his charm and the gin, especially the bold, beautiful varieties from his home in South Africa. I started dreaming up a version that felt more feminine: playful, pretty, and full of personality. Something you'd bring to a picnic, a girls night, or a beach day, and after one sip, you’d do a little happy dance. It absolutely had to be pink. Not red, not purple - a perfectly pastel pink when poured.

So I dove in. I wrote the business plan, built the brand vision, asked for advice, leaned on my loved ones, and followed the spark. I tapped into everything I’d learned from years in marketing across fashion, beauty, film, even healthcare, and fully embraced the “research” phase: laughing on the couch with Grant, taste-testing gins from around the world and calling every one a business expense.

The result? A pink gin made for the dreamers, the doers, and the ones who believe in their own magic.

Joie de Vivre means “the joy of living” and that’s exactly what this gin is here to celebrate.

Whether you’re toasting something big or just making a regular Tuesday shimmer, I hope it finds you in a moment worth remembering.

  • Oh, she’s pink pink. No artificial colours, just natural blush from real fruit concentrate. Colours may change or fade over time.

  • Think bright berries, zesty citrus, and a smooth finish that makes you go “mmm.” Top notes of lemon + orange, mid notes of raspberry + cherry, and a little sparkle in every sip.
